National is a motion graphics shop that does fuckin’ crazy good shit… as is completely evident from their 2006 reel above.  Watch and enjoy their mastery.

The actual reason I’m posting this is that I have been completely mesmerized by the audio track since the first time I heard it.  I’ve probably watched the reel about 50 times now just to hear the song again and again.  I’ve been trying desperately to figure who the band is and what the song’s called, but I’ve come up completely fruitless on Google.  For some odd reason “Get up, c’mon” yields about a billion search results. I can’t quite make out the chorus — I’m sure that would clinch it if I could understand what the hell he’s singing there… “Rev and rock”? “Raisin rock”?  I have no idea.

Anyways, it’s a killer track and I don’t mind listening to the 2 minute trimmed down version but it’d be nice to find the whole thing and be able to actually support the band.
